Fanzine: Lobotomy

Bar none, the most fun and endearing fanzine was Lobotomy. Brad Dunning, current interior designers to the stars, and a wonderfully patient, quiet, sexy man created the Lobotomy logo. Pleasant, Randy Kaye RIP, Kid Congo and others contributed gossip and reviews. I contributed a few photos here and there. It was the beginning of Pleasant's fabulous writing career. How can you not love a punk fanzine dedicated to Shaun Cassidy? And I'll give you one guess as to why they named it Lobotomy . . . answer below, but if you have to cheat, you need to go back to Rock 'n' Roll High School!

I was the FIRST CREDITED photographer for Lobotomy. MY MUMPS photo was on the cover of the FIRST issue and the interior as well. You might read elsewhere another photographer started the magazine w/Pleasant and the late Randy Kaye. But her name is not on the first issue.

Not that I give a damn, but I am tired of people stealing my thunder. WE were all in it together.
