Jenny Lens and the Ramones and more

August, 1976, Joey Ramone, Jenny and Big Mike backstage (either Golden Bear or Smokestack).

August, 1976, my pal Dee Dee Ramone backstage (either Golden Bear or Smokestack).

January 27, 1978 at the Santa Monica Carousel, Jenny Lens and Tommy Ramone.

October 21, 1977, Whisky backstage
Johnny in the back and mirror, and the man who changed my world, Dee Dee Ramone (RIP) and moi.

Renaissance Fair, 1978 when my whole head of dark curly hair was many shades of magenta and violet, a red purple rainbow.

I usually wore a little gray nightie and vintage kimonos, all of which I still have. I had tons of band pins, rare jewelry and things I made, all stolen.

January 20, 1978

At the infamous Screamers party where NO Hostess snowball was put up my ass. Craig Lee got his facts wrong in "Hard Core California." I was making out in the closet with Posh Boy Robbie Fields when this was taken. I burned him out of the original print, but he's on the negative. [Melanie Nissan photo]

Look carefully during live filming of "Decline of Western Civilization" when X is playing. There's a quick shot of a head, a camera, and a shiny pink metal fish dangling under a dark head of curls, with magenta hair on the bottom part. That's me and I'm wearing that earring in my left ear, on your right side. All gone, gone.

The late Lance Loud of the Mumps at Blondie/Know Gary Valentine's Birthday party, 1978?

Ah, Lance was such a sweetie. Too bad this isn't in color, Matisse was my inspiration for my colorful makeup. He is considered the founder of the Fauvres, or Wild Beasts. Aptly named.

ASK
first, you might make a friend. Use my photos so I benefit too. These are MY photos.
Got a cool site or blog? Maybe we can link up. Better to ask than get angry letter/email from people who will stop you.

ANY usage, especially commercial or editorial, of any purchased, licensed, or otherwise obtained print(s)/scans, etc is strictly prohibited. Violates STATE and FEDERAL laws. That means if you use my photos on something (t-shirt, mag, print, etc) and make money, you robbed me. You robbed everyone, including yourself, of money needed for my archive. How does that make you feel?? That's not how punks treat other punks, especially us pioneers!

That includes, but is not limited to, scanning, reproduction, distribution in any manner, publishing, merchandise, posting, broadcasting, transmitting (podcasts, online, existing or future technology), etc.

Play nice and we can play together. Using without linking, notifying me, etc is bad karma.
